I got my first hater

I got my first hater.

Not in a famous way. Not in a "I'm so popular that people hate me" way.

Just... someone didn't like something I made, and they let me know.

My first instinct? Defend myself. Explain why they were wrong. Point out all the effort I put in.

But I didn't.

Instead, I read what they said. Really read it. And you know what? They had a point.

Not about everything, but about something specific that I could actually improve.

I realized that this feedback—this criticism—was actually more valuable than a thousand people saying "nice job."

Because critics force you to think. They force you to reconsider your approach. They force you to get better.

So I made the change they suggested. And the thing got better.

Now I'm grateful I got that feedback. Not because it felt good, but because it mattered.

If you're putting work out into the world, you're going to get haters. But if you listen to them—really listen—they might just be telling you how to get better.

Until next time ✌️
