I'm not trying to be self-deprecating… I swear!

I'm not trying to be self-deprecating… I swear!

I've noticed something about myself: I tend to downplay my accomplishments.

"Oh, it's nothing really." "Just a small thing I built." "Probably not as good as what other people are doing."

And I'm not even sure why I do it. Maybe it's imposter syndrome. Maybe it's just how I'm wired.

But here's what I've realized: when you constantly minimize your own work, you minimize your own growth.

You start believing your own narrative. "I'm not that good." "What I did isn't that impressive." "There are better people doing this."

Which is true, by the way. There are always better people doing better things.

But that doesn't mean what I've built is worthless.

So I'm trying something different: acknowledging the work.

Not in a cocky way. Just in a real way.

I built an automation system that saves 20 hours a month. That's real.

I created a productivity system that actually works for me. That's real.

I've helped clients scale their businesses. That's real.

These things don't make me the best. But they make me better than I was before.

And that's the game.

Not being the best.

Just being better.

So if you've built something, created something, fixed something—acknowledge it. You don't need permission to recognize your own work.

Until next time ✌️
